Former President Maithripala Sirisena stated that approximately 400 cases have been filed against him, despite him not filing any cases against others. He claims to be the person with the highest number of lawsuits in the world.
In an interview with the Deshaya newspaper, he expressed that he will not live forever and that these cases will also end on the day he dies.
Furthermore, Sirisena said that his political philosophy has been “shot and killed” by a group of people, similar to the assassinations of political philosophers like Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, and Bandaranaike.
