Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe appeared before the Bribery or Corruption Investigation Commission this morning to provide a statement regarding the withdrawal of fixed deposits from the National Savings Bank during Chamara Sampath Dassanayake’s tenure as Chief Minister of Uva Province.
Wickremesinghe arrived at the Commission around 9:15 AM and departed after approximately three hours of questioning.
